In the spring of 2019, the organization decided to deploy its projects under a banner that evokes its values of compassion, dynamism and resolution in order to better reflect the impact of its programs on the underprivileged and contribute to social development with a renewed modernism.
To do this, a creative process was conducted in collaboration with Synesia, a company specializing in brand creation, to identify the personality and deep values that are at the origin of the NGO’s social mission and activities that the organization has been conducting for the last 30 years.
At the end of the process, the name VILAVI was adopted to express its vocation: to take a stand for vulnerable people and to offer perspectives based on their skills and autonomy.
Vilavi expresses the value of compassion; it is a sweet and welcoming name.
The name chosen is a neologism and derives from the French alteration « living life ». It expresses lightness, vitality and enthusiasm, but also commitment and protection. The 3 syllables pronunciation is easy in the major part of Western languages. It offers a soft, regular, fluid and light sound.
