Vilavi Canada manages housing resources aimed towards individuals facing specific issues. This specialisation, acknowledged by the organisations partners has allowed for the building and establishing of a housing center dedicated towards welcoming six youths dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or another intellectual disability encountering serious behavioural issues. Since 2016, the young beneficiaries of the project have been able to flourish and develop in a secure and enriching environment. The project is being carried out in a collaboration between Vilavi and the Lanaudière integrated health and social services center (CISSSL) by way of innovation between the public network and an non-profit social wellness organisation.
Inauguration
On the 15 November, 2016, the official inauguration of the facility was held in the presence of numerous guests, including the delegate minister of rehabilitation, youth protection, public health and healthy living of Quebec.

Avec ce projet, Vilavi apporte une valeur ajoutée au modèle de travail développé par des experts dans un enjeu de développement social et communautaire. En effet, en soutien aux services spécialisés d’adaptation et de réadaptation dispensés par le CISSSL, l’unité Vilavi- TSA offre un milieu de vie incluant le gîte, le couvert, l’hébergement, les services généraux et les services particuliers et favorisant l’observation systématique et l’application d’une programmation clinique. Pour ce faire, Vilavi déploie une équipe d’une douzaine de collaborateurs chargée de garantir – 24h sur 24 et tous les jours de l’année – un milieu de vie adapté aux besoins et au mode de vie des usagers ainsi qu’une sécurité aux plan physique et social dans un bâtiment neuf d’une superficie de 650 m2, construit sur mesure
